I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix $ l* q. N/ W4 r ' X: E9 V7 k+ a# O: Z. l; Oand I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here # ^) u5 I6 W0 A* @just that this corner does not seem to attract many visitors.
